The immigrant ship Ophelia, quarantined a few days ago because she had fever on board, and reported unusual mortalities during her passage, will probably be released immediately.

The immigrant ship Ophelia, which arrived in the Bay during Thursday night has been placed in quarantine, owing, we believe to the prevalence of fever on board. The steamer Kate went down to the Bay early yesterday morning with flesh provisions and other requisites, and would no doubt tow the vessel over to Peel Island during the day. Fortunately, proper quarters have now been erected on the island for the accommodation of quarantined immigrants ; and the inconvenience to which the passengers by the Ophelia will he put will be far less than that which previously attended an enforced residence at that place. The following deaths are reported to have occurred during the passage - Elizabeth Roache, 22 years; Mary Dalton 50 years; Jenkin Davies 31 years; Elizabeth or Ellen Ryan 21 years; Elizabeth George 30 years; Edward Boreham 20 months; George Pritchard 31 years; Susan Bonnatt, 45 years; George Billings 15 months; John Joseph Griffin, 3 years; Herbert Kye, 1 year; Ellen or Martha Price, 5 mouths ; Thomas Green 2 years; Bridget Hughes, 69 years; Miles Ratcliffe, 26 years; William Condor; 4 months; William Robertson, 26 years.
