EDWARDS: In loving memory of our dear mother and mother-in-law, Louisa Edwards, who pass- ed away on May 27, 1944.
She bade no one a last farewell,
And said good-bye to none;
The heavenly gates were open,
And a loving Voice said "Come."
You can only have one mother,
So patient, kind and true;
No other friend in all the world
Could be so true to you.
Inserted by her loving sons Tom and David, and daugnter-in-law Josie and grandson Harold.
EDWARDS: In loving memory of my dear mother, Louisa Edwards, who passed away on May 27, 1944.
You can only have one mother,
So patient, kind and true;
No other friend in all the world,
Could be so true to you.
Inserted by her loving daughter Phyllis, and grandchildren Dud, Thelma and Gordon.
EDWARDS: In loving memory of my dear mother and grandmother, Louisa Edwards, who passed away on May 27, 1944.
For all her loving kindness;
She asked nothing in return;
If all the world deserts you,
To mother you could turn.
God saw that she was suffering,
It touched His heart of love;
So with gentle voice He whispered:
"Come, there is rest and peace above."
Inserted by her loving daughter and son-in-law, Harriet and Frank, and grandchildren.

Green-Shannon.
All Hallow's Chapel was the scene of a very pretty wedding on Tuesday morning when the wedding took place of Mr. William Sexton (son of the late Mr. W. H. Green and Mrs. Green, Brisbane) and Miss Annie Laurentia Shannon (second eldest daughter of Mr. P. W. Shannon, Rigby-street, Brisbane).
Archbishop Duhig, assisted by Rev. R. Walsh, performed the ceremony, which was followed by the nuptial mass. During the signing of the register "Ave Maria" was sung, and Miss Nellie Dowd presided at the organ.
The bride who was given away by her father, wore an frock of ivory crepe de chine on straight lines, inset with wide bands of white guipure lace. Her soft tulle veil, which fell to form a train, was held in place with a coronet of orange blossoms. Her bouquet was of white roses and asters.
The bridesmaids were Misses Clare and Cicely Shannon (sisters of the bride). Miss Clare Shannon's frock was of orchid mauve mariette, with a Vandyke bodice inlet with motifs of tinted lace, and showing ribbon looped at the shoulder. Miss Cicely Shannon's frock was made on similar lines, the tones of her frock being shell pink. Tulle caps were arranged on their heads with long streamers to match their frocks, and they carried bouquets of pale tinted dahlias. Misses Moira and Nuala Shannon attended as flower girls, and both wore white silk frocks edged with Irish crochet and pale blue tulle caps.
Mr. Leo. Green was best man, and Mr. Alfred Collingwood the groomsman.
Following the ceremony a reception was held at the residence of the bride's father. The bride's travelling dress was of wedgwood blue crepe de chine, with a hat to harmonise.
