HENDLE. In loving memory of our dear son and brother (S. R. Hendle), who died on 17th of January, 1906.
We loved him in life, he is dear to us still ;
But in grief we must bend to God's holy will.

Narrative
HENDLE.—In loving memory of S. R. Hendle, who was accidently killed January 17th, 1906.
Peaceful be thy silent slumber:—
Peaceful in thy grave so low ;
Thou no more will join our number,
Thou no more our song will know.
Yet again, we hope to meet thee
When the day at life has fled,
And with joy in heaven to greet thee,
Where no farewell tears are shed.
(Inserted by his loving mother, sisters, and brothers.)
