WASHBOURNE—WALSH.

The Presbyterian Church, Warwick, was on 11th inst. the scene of a pretty wedding, the contracting parties being Mr. John Washbourne, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Washbourne, Emu Vale, and Miss Grace Walsh, third daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. Walsh, also of Emu Vale. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. J. Blake, who journeyed from Ipswich for the occasion. As the bride entered the church on the arm of her father, who subsequently gave her away, she looked pretty in a simple frock of white voile, nicely trimmed with filet lace and insertion. She wore a tulle veil with a wreath of orange blossoms and carried a bouquet of white chrysanthemums.

The bride was attended by Miss F. Washbonrne (sister of the bridegroom) as bridesmaid. She wore a pretty frock of white voile, inlet with filet insertion and wore a cream Henderson straw hat, relieved with blue, and carried a bouquet of white and pale pink chrysanthemums. The bridegroom was attended by Mr. P. Bolger as best man. The happy couple walked down the aisle of the church to tho strains of the wedding march, and on emerging from the church we're showered with rice and confetti. They then motored to the residence of the bride's sister, Mrs. J. C. R. Mitchell, where the bride's parents entertained the guests to a tastefully arranged breakfast. A beautiful two-tier wedding cake adorned the bride's table, a present from her aunt, Mrs. T. Smith. The usual toasts were honored and responded to. The happy couple left by train for Toowoomba en route for Caloundra where the honeymoon is to be spent. The bride travelled in a navy serge coat and skirt with hat of henna shade relieved with blue.
