On May 9, at Mr. Chas. F. W. Kratsmann'a residence (Windera), the marriage was solemnised by Pastor A. E. Reuther (Lutheran Church) of Mr. Herbert Chas. Kratzmann (eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Chas. F. W. Kratzmann) and Miss Gertrude May Strandquist (eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Arthur Strandquist, of Windera). Miss Esther Mabel Kratzmann (sister of the bridegroom) acted as bridesmaid, and Mr. Chas. H. W. Strandquist, brother of the bride, carried out the duties of best man. The bride's dress was of white crepe de Chine, with wreath and veil, and she carried a bouquet of pink and white roses. The bridesmaid was frocked in white crepe de Chine, beautified with pink beads. At the conclusion of the ceremony the wedding breakfast, at which about 30 guests were present, was held at the residence of the bridegroom's parents.
