WEDDING.

Fletcher—Ogg.

The marriage of Miss Esther Gordon Ogg, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. K. Ogg, Rotherwood, The Range, Rockhampton, to Mr. Douglas Fletcher was celebrated at St. Paul's Cathedral this morning. Owing to the recent death of Miss Ogg's sister (Mrs. D. E. Macartney) the wedding was a very quiet one, and only the near relatives of the bride and bridegroom were present. The Rev. H. Freeman (brother-in-law of the bride) officiated, assisted by the Ven. Archdeacon G. H. Rogers. Mr. Ogg gave his daugh- ter away. Mr. and Mrs. Fletcher afterwards motored to Emu Park. They will return to Rockhampton on Monday, and will leave on the following Wednesday for the Philippine Islands (their future home).

Freeman - Ogg. St. Paul's Cathedral, Rockhampton, was the scene of a very pretty wedding on Thursday, December 1, when Miss Cora Gordon Ogg, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. K. Ogg, Rotherwood, The Range, and grand-daughter of the late Captain R. M. Hunter, and the Rev. Alexander Hubert Freeman, of Bright, Victoria, were married. The bride (writes our Rockhampton correspondent) is a native of Rockhamp- ton, and the Cathedral was filled with, friends and well-wishers. The Bishop of Rockhampton (the Right Rev. Dr. G. D. Halford) officiated. The bride was given away by her father. She wore a charming gown of rich cream corded silk with a yoke of Maltese lace and Brusse's net - the long trained skirt being made perfectly plain. A wreath of orange blossoms and an exceedingly handsome veil of Bruesels net and Honiton lace (which was lent by Mrs. C. A. Barnard, of Coomooboolaroo station, and which was fully 50 years old) completed a very becoming toilette. She was attended by her sisters (the Misses Hilda and Flora Ogg). The latter, who is the bride's twin sister, was chief bridesmaid. Mr. D. Macartney was best man, and Mr. L. Hartley groomsman. Mrs. Ogg (the bride's mother) was attired in mauve crystalline with a vest of cream Maltese lace, and a black toque, with a black osprey and jet trimmings. Mrs. C. A. Barnard (the bridegroom's sister) was in pale blue silk, with touches of black, and a large black hat. The (bridal party drove to the residence of the bride's parents, where the wedding breakfast was served.
