MEDHURST-COOMBER.
The marriage of Mr. Gilbert Henry Medhurst (eldest son of Mrs. E. Medhurst, West End) and Miss Violet Coomber (youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. Coomber, The Summit) was solemnised at the Ann-street Presbyterian Church on March 22. The Rev. James Cosh officiated, and Mr. Archie Day presided at the organ. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a frock of ivory mariette and satin, finished with tulle and orange blossoms. Her long hand-worked veil formed the train, and was mounted on a cap of tulle and orange blossoms. She carried a shower bouquet of white dahlias and roses. The bridesmaids were Misses Lorna Wilkinson and E. Rollason, and they wore frocks of lemon mariette over apricot satin, and carried shower bouquets of autumn toned dahlias, roses, and zinnias. They also wore picture hats of black tulle, with lemon streamers. Mr. G. Harvey carried out the duties of best man, and Mr. N. Medhurst was groomsman. During the signing of the register Miss Mae King rendered a vocal solo. The reception was held at the Country Press Cafe, the decorations being carried out in lemon and apricot. The honeymoon is being spent in Sydney and the Blue Mountains, The bride wore a travelling frock of Wedgewood blue crepe de Chine, with a full-flared skirt, relieved with embroidery. She also wore a grey felt hat to tone, and a fur choker, which was the gift of the bridegroom.

MEDHUBST-BLEECK.
At the City Congregational-Church last Monday evening a picturesque all white wedding was solemnised, when Mr. Harold Roy Medhurst (son of Mrs. G. Medhurst and the late Mr. G. Med- hurst, Wilma, Cameron-street, West End) was married to Miss Jean Marie Bleeck (daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Bleeck, Hillcrest, Dudley-street, An- nerley). The church had been tastefully decorated by friends of the bride, and the Rev. Percival Watson officiated. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a-frock of ivory, mariette over satin, inlet with flares of silver lace, and tulle falling down the side of the frock was caught at the shoulder and waist with bunches of orange blossoms. Her veil of hand-worked net was arranged in Madonna fashion, and finished with clusters of orange blossoms. She carried a bouquet of roses and stephanotis. There were two bridesmaids in attendance, the Misses Gladys and Jessie Bleeck (sisters of the bride). The chief bridesmaid (Miss Gladys Bleeck) was frocked in white satin and mariette over pink, with tight-fitting bodice and full pointed skirt, with swathed collar of silver lace, caught with a bunch of lilies of the valley. Miss Jessie Bleeck wore a frock of white satin and mariette over pink, with a tight-fitting bodice and skirt of white mariette petalled frills. A bunch of lilies of the valley gave a finish to the silver lace collar. They wore pink tulle hats, and carried bouquets of pink roses. They also wore single-bar gold brooches, set with large sapphires, the gift of the bridegroom. The duties of best man were carried out by Mr. B. Medhurst, and Mr. N. Medhurst attended as groomsman. During the signing of the register Mrs. W. N. Bleeck, jun. rendered a vocal solo. At the conclusion of the ceremony Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Bleeck entertained about 50 guests at a wedding breakfast, held at Hillcrest, the-hostess receiving her guests wearing a hand-worked frock of pale grey mariette, with a small black toque. Mrs. Medhurst was gowned in black pussy willow, with silver and blue trimming. After the breakfast dancing was enjoyed, and subsequently the bridal pair left for their honeymoon, which is being spent in Sydney and the Blue Mountains. The bride's travelling frock was of green crepe de Chine, with a travelling coat of beige satin, and she wore a small ballibuntle hat to tone. The bridegroom's gift to the bride was a Canadian fox choker. The bridegroom received a gold wristlet watch from the bride.

Medhurst-Rollason.
At the Church of the Transfiguration, Norman Park, on April 20, the marriage was celebrated of Mr. Norman J. Medhurst (youngest son of the late Mr. and Mrs. G. H. Medhurst) and Miss Edith Maud Rollason (second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Rollason, Norman Park). The Rev. A. T. Creswell officiated. Mr. Charles Creswell presided at the organ. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a frock of ivory crepe flamisol, featuring a high neck line. The veil of hand-embroidered net was mounted on cut tulle, and worn with a lace cap. She carried a bouquet of Eucharis lillies, dahlias, and frangipanni. Miss Marjorie Rollason, who attended her sister as bridesmaid, was frocked in midnight blue flamisol, made with a lace yoke. Her hat of crinoline straw was caught up at the back. She carried Lady Hillingdon roses. Mr. Albert Ratcliffe was the best man. The reception was held at the home of the bride's parents, where the guests were received by the bride's mother, wearing a frock of navy crepe de Chine, with a hat of navy velvet.

Merton Robert Medhurst, assistant school teacher, at the Two-Mile Gympie State School, was charged in the Police Court to-day, before Mr. J. Bracewell, P.M., with having indecently dealt with a girl under the age of 12 years. Evidence of arrest was given by Constable G. Barnes, who stated that, in company with Constable J. Casey, he interviewed the accused on Monday morning, and took him to a house at the Two-Mile. When charged the accused said: "I will give a state- ment to clear things up." Medhurst was remanded for eight days, bail of £80 being allowed.
