Death of an Old Resident. — An old resident of Toowoomba — one of the very oldest— has gone over to the great majority. Yesterday Mr. Frederick Mole, who has lived some 40 years in this town or rattier in the locality , for he came here long before it was a town, was laid to his rest in tho cemetery. During his long residence here he was uniformly and universally respected and esteemed, and few heard of his end without a feeling of sorrow. He had been ailing for some time, but no one anticipated the fatal end which at last came so suddenly.

GEE.--In loving memory of any dear Father, Richard Gee, who died on September 13th, 1910.
I often sit and think of him,
When I am all alone,
For memory is the only friend
That grief can call its own.
Long days and nights he bore in pain,
To wait for cure was all in vain,
But God alone, Who thought it best,
Did ease his pain, and give him rest.
(Inserted by his loving daughter, Florrie.)
GEE.:--In loving memory of our dear Father, Richard Gee, who died on September 13th, 1910.
Dearest father, we have laid thee
In the peaceful grave's embrace,
But thy memory will be cherished
Till we see thy heavenly face.
(Inserted by his loving children, Estelle, Ellis, and Hector.)
