Mutch-Dumigan.

A picturesque wedding was solemnised on April 29 in the Killarney Presbyterian Church, when Mr. Villiers Bushby Mutch (eldest son of Mr. G. Mutch and of the late Mrs. Mutch, Killarney) was married to Miss Ila Muriel Dumigan (only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Dumigan, Killarney). The Rev. M. M'Dermott officiated, and during the signing of the register Miss E. Backhouse rendered a vocal solo. A guard of honour was formed by the Orders of the Covenant and Burning Bush, of which the bride and groom were members. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a gown of white marlette and lace, featuring a lace yoke and puff sleeves. Her veil was worn in Madonna fashion, and she carried a bouquet of cactus dahlias and perennial phlox. The two bridesmaids, Misses Hester Dumigan (cousin of the bride) and Leith Mutch (sister of the bridegroom), wore frocks of blue and pink mariette and lace respectively. Mr. Rex Mitchell was best man, and Mr. N. Dumigan (cousin of the bride) was groomsman. Later a reception was held at the Theatre Royal. The three-tier wedding cake was made and decorated by Mrs. C. Carey (Killarney). The honeymoon is being spent in Sydney and the Blue Mountains.
