Caroline married Samuel Albert WEEKS in England about 1883. Clive NASH in his NASH Family History on Ancestry, has written a short story about Caroline and her two daughters, Vera and Gertrude, sailing from Normanton back to Cornwall to visit James` parents in 1893 before returning to Normanton in 1894.

OBITUARY

At the age of 89, with nearly 70 of those years spent in North Queensland, there passed away on Saturday morning, Mrs. Caroline Elisabeth Butteris. A native of Bristol (Eng.), the deceased, who for the past 28 years has resided in Townsville with her daughter, Mrs. C. H. Nash of Cook Street, came to Australia in the eighties, firstly in Brisbane, then to Charters Towers, but for very many years until 1928, when her husband, James Robert Butteris passed away, was a very prominent resident of Normanton.
