PALMER.—On the 25th December, at her residence, Newtown, Harriet, the beloved wife of Henry Palmer, aged 61 years.
Tis hard to break the tender cord
When love has bound the heart ;
'Tis hard, so hard, to speak the word,
We for a time must part.
Dearest loved one, we have lain thee
In the peaceful grave's embrace ;
But thy memory will be cherished
Till we see thy heavenly face.

PALMER.—In loving memory our dear wife and mother, Harriet Palmer, who died on December 25, 1902.
A precious one from us is gone,
A voice we loved is stilled
A place is vacant in our home
Which never can be filled.
God in His wisdom has recalled
The boon His love had given ;
And though the body slumbers here,
The soul is safe in heaven.
Inserted by her loving husband and family.
