[[53208]] STUART, Margaret Primrose, parents William STUART and Margaret SHARP
PETERSEN— STUART.

Miss Margaret Primrose Stuart made a lovely bride on Wednesday, February 20th when her marriage to Mr. Peter Alfred Petersen was celebrated at the Presbyterian Church, Wills Street, by the Rev D. A. Brown. The bride who was given away by her step-father, Mr. J. Pincott, is the only daughter of Mrs. J. Pincott (and the late Mr. W. Stuart), Norris Street, Hermit Park, and the bridegroom is the eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. P. A. Peterson, French Street, Pimlico. White angelskin lace over satin formed the bride's beautiful frock, which was well moulded to the figure, the skirt forming a train. The bodice had a cowl neck, caught with a diamante buckle, having long tight-fitting sleeves, ending in points over the hands. Her long embroidered tulle veil was worn off the face in halo effect with sprays of orange blossom. The bouquet of white roses, stephanotis and fern completed an attractive ensemble. There were two attendants, Miss Phyllis Petersen (sister of the bridegroom) and Miss Myrtle Morris (cousin of the bride). Miss Peterson wore a frock of pink georgette and lace cut on classical lines, with a dainty picture hat of the same shade. Miss Morris chose apple green lace made with high neckline, with flared sleeves falling softly from the shoulders, and the skirt flaring out below the hips. She wore a pretty green hat to match. Both carried a bouquet of pink roses and fern. Mr. T. Petersen acted as best man for his brother, and Mr. W. Stuart (brother of the bride) was groomsman. The wedding dinner was held at the home of the bride's mother, who received the guests in a frock of floral georgette and hat to tone. Mrs. Peterson (the bridegroom's mother) favored a green figured morocain with hat to match. Mr. and Mrs. Peterson left by mail train for Sydney where the honeymoon is being spent. The bride travelled in a honev crepe de Chine frock self-trimmed, and wore a smart Robin Hood hat and accessories to tone.
