Sudden Death at Sandgate.
Mrs. W. Robinson, of Nudgee.
A very sudden death occurred at Sandgate yesterday. Mrs. Eliza Robinson, wife of Mr. William B. Robinson, of Nudgee, arrived at Sandgate at 11.28 a.m. yesterday, and walked up Kate street to Signal Row, where site called on Mrs. Castlehow, at the Methodist Parsonage, reaching there about 10 minutes to 12. On the exchange of greetings, Mrs. Robinson remarked that she was all right, "but for this heart of mine." She sat down, but had hardly been seated five minutes when she gave a sigh, and her head drooped. Mrs. Castlehow quickly sent for Dr. Davidson, but Mrs. Robinson was past all aid. The doctor certified that fatty degeneration of the heart was the cause of death. The body was conveyed to Nudgee later in the day. Naturally the shock was a severe one for Mrs. Castlehow, but she bore it bravely. The Rev, I. Castlelhow, who was in town at the time, reached the parsonage soon after 1 o'clock.
