According to the Victorian Government Gazette, a James DALZIEL of 29 Wright Street, Prahran, Victoria, died Thursday, 25 November 1915 and had previously lived in Scotland.

LATE SAMUEL DALZIEL.
The funeral of the late Samuel John (Sam) Dalziel took place on Tuesday afternoon, moving from the residence, 56 Water-street, and was very largely attended. The Cairns Car-drivers` Association were well represented. The Rev. W. P. Hohenhouse officiated at the graveside.
